What's New in Aphex: December 2024

As we wrap up the year, we're thrilled to share a final update with you.

We’re a bit light on new features this month, but there's a great reason for it—our team has been working on something big for 2025 that we can't wait to reveal. So stay tuned!

But we couldn’t close out the year without giving you some final gifts: the Project Reporting Suite in Power BI and Card Colour in Board View 🎁

Project Reporting Suite in Power BI

Power BI - Dec Email (1)

Our Project Reporting Suite has received a major upgrade to give you even more control and insight. Here’s what’s new:

1.  Blockers Dashboard

The wait is over! We know how crucial it is to track Blockers effectively, so we’ve created a new dashboard just for this. Now, you can easily see and analyse blockers to spot potential risks early and develop solutions to keep your project on track.

2.  Updated Material Resources Dashboard

This dashboard now includes actuals vs. planned material usage data, making it easier to compare your planned resources with what’s actually being used and manage project budgets accurately.

3.  Enhanced PPC Dashboard

We know PPC is a critical metric for tracking performance, so we’ve added a toggle feature that allows you to select how you’d like PPC to be calculated:

  • PPC (Task Day): Calculates the average percentage of task completion based on the percentage of planned workdays completed between two publication dates.
  • PPC (Task): Calculates project efficiency by comparing the number of tasks completed to those planned between two publication dates.

Each of these updates helps bring more flexibility and insights to your project tracking, especially as we head into the new year.

AND don’t forget to check out our new Help Centre guide if you’d like a detailed breakdown of each dashboard and measurement!

Customisable Card Colour in Board View

Add a personal touch to your Board View with Card Colour!

You can now set task cards to reflect the colour of the task owner, subcontractor, shift, or none - making it easier to organise your view and find what matters most at a glance.

And the best part? Your preferences are saved just for you. Once you set it up, it’ll stay just the way you like it every time you come back.
